Race Preview: 2021 Wy’East Wonder


If you’re looking for a scenic trail run with spectacular views, you’ll want to sign up for the Wy’east Wonder 50M and 50K on Saturday, June 12th (50M), and Sunday, June 13th (50K).

This point-to-point race is run mostly on two ridges alongside Mt. Hood; Gunsight Ridge and Surveyor’s Ridge. Participants may be urged to stop and pictures of the many views of Mount Hood along the way as they make their way from it’s southern side around to the east. The 50M route has 7,082′ of elevation gain and 10,012 of loss. The 50K has 4,193′ of gain and 7,122′ of loss.

Finishers will be taken via shuttle back to the Red Barn Park where they can eat tasty feed, rehydrate and enjoy beer from 10 Barrel beer and Avid hard cider.

Optional shirts are available for purchase during registration. Shirts are available until May 1.

50-Miler – Saturday, June 12, 2021 

  • Shuttle from Red Barn Park to start: 4:30 a.m.
  • Bib Pickup at Bennett Pass Sno Park (start line): 5:00 – 5:45 a.m.
  • 50M Start: 6:00 a.m.

50K – Sunday, June 13, 2021 

  • Shuttle from Red Barn Park to start: 6:30 a.m.
  • Bib Pickup at Bennett Pass Sno Park (start line): 7:00 – 7:45 a.m.
  • 50K Start: 8:00 a.m.
