Race Info: 2021 Hop Hop Half Marathon, 10k, 5k Registration, packet pickup and routes (Portland and anywhere)

If you are looking for a fun local race to participate in on Easter Saturday, it is not too late to register for the Foot Traffic’s Hop Hop Half/10k/5k. The live race date is set for April 3, 2021, and as of writing (Wednesday, 3/24) there are still openings in the 7:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11am, and 1pm starting waves.

Of course you can also still choose to run your race virtually any time between April 3rd and April 17th on any route of your choosing. Race times can be submitted to be added to the finishers list; the result will be listed as “verified” if you include a link to the activity on Strava. Registration is open! The virtual race costs $65 for any distance. If you live out of the area and can’t pick up the race packet, you can have it mailed for a $10 shipping fee. The VIP In-Person race registration is $89 for any distance, and it is limited to a total of 120 participants.

The in-person VIP races use a marked and measured (but not closed) course starting at the Foot Traffic NE store. The 5k first runs you along beautiful Alameda St, then loops back through the Prosperity Park neighborhood to the start/finish at the store. The 10k starts the same, then adds on a loop through the Alameda neighborhood north of Fremont St. Finally, the half marathon follows the 10k route, but at around mile 5.5 adds another big loop to the west and north to Ainsworth St and rejoins the 10k course at mile 13.

Packet pickups are starting this weekend. You can choose the time and store that best fits your schedule.
