As the world continues opening up in 2021, and thawing with the spring, it is the PERFECT timing for an in-person race. And if you aren’t sure about the right distance, thanks to Why Racing you have plenty of options on April 18.
Spring Classic has multiple race distances and even multiple racing method options.
Do I have to run?
No, you could walk, jog, wog, hop or prance your way to the finish line. As long as you get there under your own volition, that is acceptable!
This year’s duathlon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K routes are taking place at Vancouver Lake Regional Park. The course is super flat with minimal traffic and no railroads. The route uses 15 miles of pavement and farmland scenery all around. Aka all the makings of a nice, fast race.
After the finish line, participants will celebrate with free bear, a post-event meal, technical t-shirt, and finisher’s medal.
In case you have forgotten what it looks like to be racing in person, check out this video from Spring Classic 2019.
And then come join in the 37th annual Spring Classic.
