Race Preview: 2021 Hurricane Creek Half/5 Mile/5K

If you’re looking for a race to test your endurance while enjoying breath-taking views, head to Joseph, Oregon on Saturday May 29, 2021 for the Hurricane Creek Half/5 Mile/5K. These out-and-back courses are hilly and will test your lung capacity as the half marathon altitude starts at 4100 feet and climbs to 5100 feet.

Runners will wind their way thought paved and well-maintained dirt roads and enjoy view of the Wallowa Mountains and Eagle Cap Wilderness. The event is sponsored by Runners of the Sage whose goals are to encourage people to live more active lifestyles, to be more self-sufficient, and more environmentally aware.

After the race, runners can make their way to Terminal Gravity Brewing for lunch and then on to the Wallowa County Farmers Market. Enjoy a post-run yoga class at Salutations Studio at 2PM for a donation.
