Race Preview: 2021 Shamrock Run Portland (virtual)

Shamrock Run Portland will be like no other for 2021. With the current pandemic, Shamrock 43rd year is going to be held virtually. This is sad as I love running on the streets laced with green for St. Paddy’s Day weekend. I am also thankful we have the opportunity to run where we live! If you registered for the 2021 live event, Shamrock sent out directions on how to differ your live race to move to the virtual race. So who’s with me? Lets grab a friend, wear some green and run the streets in our home towns!

I am a 41 year-old runner from Dallas, OR. I am married to Jerry (also a runner) and we have three kids (one who will run with us on occasion). I work full time at West Valley Hospital/Salem Health and run as often as I can. I ran in High school but as an adult, started running in 2008.
