NORCROSS, GA – (January 12, 2020) – Mizuno, a global leader in running footwear and apparel, launches its newest addition to the Mizuno Wave Inspire family – Wave Inspire 17. The Wave Inspire 17 received an all new update, with it’s most notable upgrade being the inclusion of Mizuno’s latest foam technology in the heel wedge, MIZUNO ENERZY, which is designed to increase softness and responsiveness for the runner.
“The 17th edition of our Wave Inspire includes the latest and greatest technologies developed at Mizuno to provide the overall support and comfort we know our customers demand and expect from this line” said Chuck Couch, Vice President of Mizuno Running USA. “The increased softness and energy return provided by our MIZUNO ENERZY foam technology combined with the support and comfort of both an engineered air mesh upper option and our coveted WAVEKNIT™ upper option will provide a running experience like never before. Moreover, runners have a variety of colors to choose from, including eight men’s and eight women’s ranging from neutral core colors to vibrant trending seasonal colors.”
Designed for runners who need and want a supportive shoe without all the weight, Wave Inspire 17 offers more cushioning and responsiveness than its predecessors, while still providing the support. The upper is offered in both a lightweight engineered air mesh as well as in the WAVEKNIT™ pattern. Both unique uppers offer engineered stability designs to create a fit and hold specific for the support wearer.
Other notable upgrades to the Wave Inspire 17 include:
- TPU fan-shaped wave plate for softness and stable stride
- Gusseted tongue construction that hugs midfoot for a superior fit
- Micro Blown Rubber and X10 Rubber out sole for responsiveness and durability
- Wider outsole gauge for medial midfoot stability
The Wave Inspire 17 is the latest addition to a long line of Wave Inspire running shoes that have always been designed for ultimate comfort and stability, all while not sacrificing on softness, weight and wearability.
