Race Preview: 2020 Give n’ Gobble Virtual 5K/10K

The Give n’ Gobble 5k and 10K, which was traditionally held in Sherwood, will be a virtual event this year. Participants will choose their distance, their desired course, and even their preferred race day. Run your race, submit your results, and post a picture on social media – don’t forget to tag #GiveNGobble. (Information on submitting your results will come in your registration confirmation email.)

There will be a drive-thru packet pickup and food donation drop at Sherwood Middle School. The first 1000 to register will receive a race bib, a race t-shirt, a Give N Gobble mask, and your own finish line.

The funds and food donations from the annual Give n’ Gobble go to Helping Hands Food Bank, which is affiliated with the Oregon Food Bank. To date, we have donated nearly $400,000 and over 80,000 lbs. of food.  These funds help cover Helping Hands’ annual expenses, enabling them to provide hundreds of needy families with not only canned food and other nonperishable items, but also dairy products, and fresh fruits and vegetables. The Give n’ Gobble also funds the Backpack Meals for Kids program that has provided over 100,000 meals for at risk children.

In addition to the virtual race to raise funds, there is also an online auction with plenty of options to bid on. All proceeds from this auction will benefit the Helping Hands Food Bank.

  • $20 – youth under 18
