Here comes Thanksgiving, like it or not…but that also means all the Thanksgiving Day races are here! Bend’s I Like Pie 5K is a Central Oregon favorite for sure, put on by the great people at Cascade Relays and FootZone. And even with the virtual nature of the run, this shouldn’t stop you from getting out there, and then enjoying a little pie!
A positive side to virtual races is the fact that you can run them anywhere. This means that even though this is a Bend race, you can sign up, help benefit a few non-profits, and then race your 5K on the coast, if you want to.
There’s still time to register for Virtual I Like Pie! All proceeds benefit NeighborImpact, Girls on the Run of Central Oregon, & Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend. These non-profits have suffered many hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic & need our help more than ever this year.
You’ll have from November 23-29 to complete this virtual 5k run/walk. Current registration prices are:
- Youth (Under 18) = $15.
- Adult (18 & Up) = $30
- Family (Up To 5 people) = $85.
