Level 32 Racing’s Run Big Trail Series starts on Feb. 1st!

Our friends at Level 32 Racing have a series of trail events that begins on February 1st with the Bristow Trail Run! There are six races in the Run Big Trail Series, of varying distances and in wonderfully scenic locations in Lane County.

There are short division and long division categories for standings (points-based), which corresponds to the race distances. Choose the 10M/5M option/s for short and the 25K/50K for long and see how you fare at the end of the season! The short division cost is $175 and the long division is $220 (without shirts). For more information on pricing and race options, you can check out the registration form here.

These races are thoughtfully spaced to allow for early season warmups, recovery times, and later season long runs. Run Oregon will be at the kickoff event, Bristow Trail Run, which is just 25 minutes outside Eugene at the beautiful trails in Elijah Bristow State Park. This is a nice season opener, with a 5-ish mile lollipop course on singletrack trails.

The Trail Series is generously sponsored by Run Hub NW, Altra, GU, New Leaf Hyperbarics, Eclectic Edge Racing, Univera, and USATF so you know the swag and support will be great!

Check out the line up below and put your name in the hat for a memorable year of trail running!

The Run Big Trail Series also has a Facebook page, which you can poke around here!

Bobi Jo has lived all over the midwest but moved to Portland in 2007 and now calls it home. She started casually running in 2012 and trained up for the "Run Like A Mother" 5k as her first proper event. She got a taste of the runner's high and is now a veteran ultrarunner. While running is her favorite sport, she is a "Jill of all trades, master of none" - her other hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and snowshoeing. On her elusive rest days, she is an avid bookworm and a Green Bay Packers fan. Her best adventure buddies are her husband and her Australian Shepherd.
