Small Race Preview: 2020 Couples Classic 5K (Eugene)

If you haven’t locked in your Valentine’s weekend plans, or want a fun way to burn off the dinner + dessert you just splurged on, check out the Couples Classic 5K by our friends at Eclectic Edge Racing on Saturday, February 15th!

The Michael DeRobertis Memorial Couples Classic 5000 Meter Run and Fitness Walk is held at the River Road Park in Eugene. You can check out the course map here. Adding to the incentive: the lovely folks at River Road will be providing free child care while you run! And as always, this event will be chip timed by Eclectic Edge.

In addition to the numerous random prize drawings, awards will be given top overall female and male winners, top overall wheelchair participants, and the winning co-ed team divisions based on combined ages.

The post-race food includes Mo’s chowder, baked goods, and more! Remember to bring a swimsuit and towel, as the hot tub (and dressing rooms / showers) will be available to use after the race.

As is tradition, immediately after the race the Lane Blood Center will be conducting a blood drive. The blood-mobile will be on-site and race participants and their guests may register to donate that day (or schedule an appointment for a later date/time). Your support is appreciated more than you know!
