Race Preview: 2020 Run Love Run 30K / 15K (Newport)

Valentine’s Day in 2020 is a great excuse to escape to the coast, but it’s worth considering celebrating a week early to sneak in the Run, Love, Run 30K and 15K in Newport on Saturday, February 8th. Hosted by Ardor Adventures, this Valentine’s Day themed race starts and finishes at Rogue Brewery and the course features some fast and flat road sections, some flowy and beautiful singletrack, a little gravel road, and has about 1,450 ft of elevation gain for the 15K and 2,200 ft for the 30K.

The 15K will have 3 aid stations and the 30K will have 6; all will be stocked with water and Gatorade. Finisher’s will receive a medal and there will of course be food and Rogue beer at the finish line! There will be awards for age group winners, which include an engraved glass.

You can consider entering the “Sweetheart Division” as well! You can team up with a partner (spouse, significant other, best friend, etc.) and the finishing percentage of you and your partner – regardless of which race you each do –  will be added together. There will be an award for the top three in this division.

Don’t miss out on these great beachy trails for an early season adventure!
