FREE Race Preview: 2020 Perpetua Fat Ass 50k/30k/20k/9 Miler (Yachats)

Looking to be a Fat Ass in 2020? Come out to Yachats, a cute little coastal city south of Newport, on January 11th and run the 2020 Perpetua Fat Ass! If you’re looking for an ultra distance to start the year off right, there’s a 50k for you. If you want something a little shorter, there’s also a 30k, a 20k, and a 9 Miler available. The registration for this event is also FREE. Yeah, you read that right. There’s really not a great excuse to miss this one.

This is the 6th annual event hosted by Ardor Adventures, and it always starts on the second Saturday of the year. This should be a fun and casual event for all. After the race, hang out awhile and grab some grub. It’s potluck style, so you can feel free to bring any food or drinks you care to share, but you shouldn’t feel obligated to bring anything if you can’t do so. There will be plenty of food for everyone, including pizza and Rogue beer.

Though this event is free, it would be a great courtesy to the race director if you register so there’s an idea of how much food to buy and who is planning to come for the event.

All distances will begin at the Yachats Commons Building in Yachats, and all will finish at this location as well. Course maps will be coming at a later time. Check out the Facebook page for additional information as the event approaches.
