Race Preview: 2019 Newport Turkey Trot 10K/5K/Kids Run

Do you have a Turkey Trot on your calendar yet? If not, and you’re going to be at the coast (or want to be at the coast) on Thanksgiving morning, sign up for the Newport Turkey Trot to make room for the afternoon feast!

This is a great family race on Thanksgiving morning. The courses are flat and scenic, taking racers around Yaquina Bay, Hatfield Marine Science Center, NOOA, and other vistas of the Pacific Ocean.

Choose from a 10K, 5K, or the Kids Fun Run. Costumes are strongly encouraged and prizes will be given to the top best!

Prizes will be awarded for top overall male and female finishers in each race, top master (+40) male and female in each race, and top grandmaster (+50) male and female in each race. Age group ribbons will also awarded to the top 3 in each age group.

This year’s event will benefit the Food Share of Lincoln County. If you’re unable to walk/run this year, please consider volunteering. You can email info@ardoradventures to be in touch with the volunteer coordinator.
