Small Race Preview: 2019 Baker City Turkey Trot

The Baker City Turkey Trot is the 12th Annual Run/Walk to Feed the Hungry, hosted by The Northeast Oregon Compassion Center. The NOCC is a faith-based non-profit that desires to serve the needs of the community. Participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item with them on race day to help refill their local food bank.

This 5K starts on Main Street and makes its way through quiet neighborhood streets before circling back to the start/finish.

If you have a group of 5-10, you can choose to run in the Team Category, which will save you some money on your registration fee. Team costumes are encouraged, as are costumes for individual runners.

There will be prizes awarded to the top 3 overall, men, and women, as well as the top 3 in the team category. Best costume will also be awarded a prize. Water, Sorbenots coffee and hot chocolate will be available at the finish line.

Register early to secure your race t-shirt and don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item (or items) to help out the hungry.
