Race Preview: The Great Pumpkin Run 2019 (Corvallis)

‘Tis the season for pumpkin everything… pumpkin lattes, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin RACES!  There are so many great pumpkin themed races throughout October and here are two awesome, small ones to consider when trying to figure out which one you want to run!

The Great Pumpkin Run takes place in Corvallis on October 5th, 2019 and is sponsored by Home Life – non-profit that supports the residential and needs of intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals.  There is a 5K and 10K option, both of which follow around the Benton County Fairgrounds and surrounding areas. Also, there is a 1K obstacle course for the kiddos before the races start. Prizes will be given to the top finishers in each age and gender category and there will be a ton of raffle drawings for enrolled runners.

Don’t forget your costume!  Prizes will be given to the best costume for age groups as well as overall and best group costume.  Be sure to register for the costume contest before the race begins to be eligible.  Race shirts will be available for purchase for $15.

Where: Benton County Fairgrounds

When: October 5th, 2019

Time:

  • 1K Obstacle Course- 9:00am 5K- 9:50am 10K- 9:30am
  • Packet Pickup begins at 7:45am

Cost:

  • 1K Obstacle Course- $5
  • 5K- $30, Kids under the age of 12, senior citizens and individuals with disabilities it is $15
  • 10K- $35, Kids under the age of 12, senior citizens and individuals with disabilities it is $20
