This Eclectic Edge Racing 3+ mile obstacle course-style event will be brought to Terrebonne, OR by The Good Thought Good Action Foundation and 7 Peaks Paving. Whether you choose to do it alone, with friends, or with family, it will be a great day for you to get your blood pumping and have a little fun.
If you choose to put together a team, you’ll all have to shimmy through the individual obstacles (19 total!) and as at least 4 special team obstacles, and everyone starts and finishes together. But whether you do this with a team or by yourself, the obstacles are appropriate for all skill levels. There will be some water out at DD Ranch, so prepare for some mud!! A penalty lap will be employed if any participant bypasses an obstacle, but if you at least attempt the obstacle, no penalty will be applied unless you are an elite competitor. In other words, give it a go and have some fun with it!
The cost of the Great Harvest Challenge is $85 and includes a technical race shirt, a finisher’s medal, some finish line food, and a beverage ticket. There will also be a swag bag filled with some items from local businesses. There’s also a Sprouts Course for ages 4 to 12 and that is $25. Kiddos will get a finisher coin, a shirt, chocolate milk, a swag bag, and entry to the hay rides and petting zoo at the pumpkin patch.
After you finish the course, stick around for some food, drinks, and live music. This event is hosted on opening weekend of the Pumpkin Patch, so there should be a lot of fun planned for the day. ACME Hot Dog Co will be this year’s food vendor and 10 Barrel Brewing will be there with some refreshing beverages. Top finishers will get a spiffy custom tumbler courtesy of Blue Spruce Pottery as a reward!
