Race Preview: 2019 Pacific Northwest Marathon (Coburg/Harrisburg)

Anything is possible! That’s what Pacific Northwest Marathon believes as they help people overcome difficult challenges to achieve their fitness goals. Running a marathon takes time, commitment, and many hours of training. It also requires giving up things such as late nights out with friends because you have a long run in the morning and many hours devoted to training. As it all comes to a head, and you cross the finish line, everything suddenly makes sense. Every hour of training and everything you gave up to get those training runs in is worth it! There is nothing like the finish line!

Pacific Northwest Marathon is a place for everyone to achieve their running goals. The course is run downriver along the beautiful Willamette River. It’s an point to point, starting in Coburg, ending in Harrisburg. Both towns are excited to host you as you start and end your race, giving you an experience of a lifetime. The full and the half are flat, fast, and gradually downhill. You will run by the farmlands of southern Willamette Valley, making the course something to enjoy.

Pacific Northwest Marathon will be capped off at 350 runners, so don’t delay, secure your spot. The 5k will be capped off at 200.
