Beaverton’s 2019 Outdoor Sunday Evenings starts on July 14th with a 5K

Starting Sunday, July 14th, Southwest Bible Church is holding a series of Outdoor Sunday Evenings events. Throughout July and August, there will be a carnival, car show, tailgate, Andrew Palau, international night, first responders, and community picnic. All events will be family-friendly and they all include some amazing food.

The series kicks off with their 8th annual 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Run. The 5K is just $5 ($10 after June 30th) and the 1-mile is free. The 5K race will be chip timed with 11 male and female age-division winners. Plus, medals for the top 3 overall male and female winners. For those without a need for speed, join in the 5K walk. Both distances use routes around the local neighborhoods on sidewalks and asphalt trails. There will be volunteers and one aid station to help keep you going.

After the races, everyone is invited to the free BBQ dinner. Running and BBQ: a perfect Sunday evening.
