Taking a runcation with Holiday CBD

As I sit here writing this initial draft (May 29th), I am within shouting distance of a long overdue tropical trip with my wife. 2019 has been sort of a comedy of errors – mostly surrounding continuous illness in my family and lots of exhausted days. Though my running has actually been one of the few constants this year, I feel I just need a little bit of a recharge to reboot the system. During this trip there will be a few runs, but the majority of the time will be spent with something that every runner needs from time to time – a little R&R. Holiday CBD heard about this trip and sent us a sample bottle of their CBD gummies to try out as a part of their #takeaholiday hashtag.

While there are CBD items out there geared towards athletics (as we reviewed here and here), Holiday’s premium hemp CBD gummies have a focus of relaxation, but without the THC (i.e. high) components. I put these to the test on my week-long trip in early June. Since we had no children in our midst, plus minimal plans throughout the days (aside from some snorkeling, restaurant reservations, and constant margarita drinking), it was much easier to chill out than “real life”. However, I also legit feel like these did help. Holiday CBD recommends taking 1-2 per day of the 10mg CBD gummies and I went with the max. They are just a little chewy and come in three flavors – Cherry, Orange and Lime – each of which were quite tasty.

I think a lot of people are probably new to the CBD world, and it’s fair to do your research. After now having tried a variety of CBD products (they are legal in all 50 states), I feel like there are some definite benefits in these lines of products. As always, do your homework, but I feel that products like Holiday CBD are worth a try for yourself.
