The Ridgeline Ramble is another fun trail event that’s been on our radar for some time now. One of the benefits of the ramble is that they offer a 20K, 10K, and 20K relay option available for a great race with minimal prepping. Be sure to register online as they do NOT have a race day registration option.
The 20K race starts at the Blanton Heights Trailhead and the 10K starts at the Fox Hollow Trailhead after being transported by shuttle from Lane Community College where both of the races end. This year the course has approximately 85% trails with a net elevation drop of 459 feet while the 10K has approximately 341 feet of net elevation drop. Both the 20K, 10K, and the relay will navigate past Spencer Butte and utilize the Dillard Connector Trail.
The relay is a two person team that starts with the 20K solo runners with the exchange taking place at the Fox Hollow Trailhead. There are 3 aid stations for the 10K and 7 for the 20K stocked with water and snacks as well as GU Brew and Energy Gel at 2 of the aid stations.
