If a dog is man’s best friend, then it’s important to find ways to show some love back to these loyal pups.
The 2019 Doggie Dash on Sunday, May 5th is that way. Not only can you get out for 1.5 or 2.5 miles with dogs from around the city, but you can do it for a great cause. Proceeds from this event go toward the Oregon Humane Society, a program helping to protect the lives of animals and find them loving homes. If you have a dog, bring them along (on a leash of course). And if you don’t, then just come enjoy all of the puppy love around you.
Participants will be walking or running a loop starting and ending in Waterfront Park with a pet festival all set up for celebration. All (human) finishers receive complimentary pancake breakfast and all (above 21 human) finishers get free beverage tastings. Other fun options at the festival include dog contests, photo booth, prize raffles, a kids’ corner, and Dog Utopia (because of course there is).
Come on out with your best four-legged, three-legged, or two-legged friends for this course around the river.
