Small Race Preview: 2019 Pet Day Fun Run 5K (Corvallis)

The annual Pet Day 5K, hosted by Oregon State University’s Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine, will be held on Saturday, May 4th – and, fittingly, will be Star Wars-themed! The 5K run/walk will be held on a flat, loop course, taking participants through the beautiful OSU campus. Please bring your [leashed] dog and enjoy the day! Prizes will be awarded to top finishers, and post-run/walk snacks & water will be provided. In the spirit of Star Wars Day, costumes are encouraged at this event!

After you finish your race (or for friends or family members who aren’t racing), there is more happening at Pet Day to take in as well throughout the OSU campus. There will be a costume contest for animals, a cat photo contest, a petting zoo, teddy bear surgery, dog wash, dog agility demos, veterinary hospital tours, and vendor booths to browse.

Pet Day is created, organized and staffed by students in the College of Veterinary Medicine at OSU as a way of giving back to the community and continuing a legacy of public service at the college.
