As far a quick, healthy snacks go, it is widely agreed that nuts pack a nutritious punch to tide you over between meals. Nut butters are a great way to include nuts into your snacks as well (as long as they are not loaded with sugar), but jars of nut butter don’t travel very well without making a mess. SuperFat Amazing Nut Butters are sold in single serve pouches that can be either opened by the resealable twist top, or – if you are using up the entire package – torn open across the top. As such, they can be used on the go as a quick snack directly from the pouch, or be part of your lunch box to add to your sandwich or fruit.

SuperFat is currently available in five flavors: Original Macadamia + Almond, Cacao Coconut, MTC + Probiotic, Nitro Coffee + MTC, and Protein. The original flavor contains just macadamia nuts and almonds with a little bit of sea salt, while the other flavors contain additional ingredients. All varieties are gluten free, kosher, vegan, paleo, and keto friendly. The claim that they contain no added sugar does not mean that they are not sweetened: several of the flavors contain Stevia as a sweetener.

I enjoyed all three flavors I tasted. Almond butter is my preferred nut butter already, and the added macadamia nut adds a creaminess and gentle flavor. Cacao Coconut has a mildly sweet chocolate flavor, and the Protein butter also contains sunflower protein and cinnamon, which makes it my favorite out of the tree.
