Race Preview: 2019 Salmon Run Half/10K/5K (Bend)

The 2019 Salmon Run in Bend is in its 31st year and once again returns with a half marathon, 10K, 5K and Little Fry Run to make sure there’s something for everyone!

Beginning and ending at the Athletic Club of Bend, the courses run along the Deschutes River on one side, then back down the other on both pavement and trails for some classic Bend running.

There will be 5 aid stations in the half marathon, 2 in the 10K, and 1 in the 5K stocked with water, GU Brew, and GU gels. After crossing the finish line, stick around for food and brews from local sponsors and post-race music (plus the Little Fry Run, starting at noon)!

The beneficiary for the race is The Environmental Center, an awesome organization working every day to protect the planet.

The Salmon Run was one of the first half marathons in the Pacific Northwest and an awesome early season event – we hope you’ll make it!
