Race Preview: 2019 Suddenly Sleepy Sleepwalk 5k (Eugene)

The Suddenly Sleepy Sleepwalk 5K is a fun event to raise awareness and funds for those affected by Narcolepsy. Don your pajamas, kid friendly cosplay, or race attire and run or walk this 5K around Alton Baker Park in Eugene.

Narcolepsy is a medical disorder that affects one (1) in approximately every 2,000 people in the United States. Some of Narcolepsy’s key symptoms are excessive daytime sleepiness, sleep attacks, sudden microsleeps, and disrupted nighttime sleep.

Andre Royal Sr. has made it his mission to take on Narcolepsy as a cause worth fighting for. This kick-off event is a fundraiser to help establish a local non-profit organization and bring support to our community.

This 5K includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres after the race and raffle tickets will be available for prizes from local sponsors and community members.

Participating in the Suddenly Sleepy Sleepwalk allows you to be a part of the beginning of this Eugene area non-profit and make a difference in the fight against Narcolepsy. The added bonus: You can just stay in your pajamas all day!
