Race Preview: 9th Annual West Linn Ugly Sweater Dash (West Linn)

The 9th Annual West Linn Ugly Sweater Dash and 5K Run/ Walk will be held on Saturday, December 8th 2018. Grab you family, friends, 4-legged friends and whomever else wants to chase down some holiday cheer, to participate in this lovely community event.

This untimed fun run starts and ends at the West Linn Fire Station in the historic downtown Willamette area. Choose from 2 different courses with varying degrees of incline. The 1 mile course is fairly flat and the 5K has a gradual downhill around Willamette Park  with a relatively moderate incline back up toward the finish.

Registration: Limited to 2000 entries. 1-mile dash pricing: Adults are $10, Children are $7 and a family of 4 is $27.00  5K pricing: Adults are $25 for the 5K, Children are $15 and a family of 4 can register for $65. ALL adults are asked to bring 2 cans of food and kids are asked to bring 1 can of food. Donations will go to the West Linn Food Pantry. Online registration here. Registration closes Dec 7th at midnight or whenever the race is full.

Day of Race: Parking is limited, so show up early and car pool! 5K starts at 9:00 am followed by the 1 mile dash at 9:30am.

Swag: Commemorative mugs will be giving to the first 300 registered runners and walkers. Post-race enjoy treats and coffee provided by Willamette Coffee House. Stick around for the West Linn Holiday Parade starting at 10:00 am.

Packet Pick up: On Friday, November 30th after the Holiday Tree Lighting in West Linn at City Hall or at the morning before the race at 8:00 am.
