Holiday Race season is here! If you are looking for a fun race at the coast this year, the 2018 Jingle Bell Jog 5k Run/Walk is coming up on December 15th for it’s 6th year.
The race takes place at the Lincoln City Community Center and is hosted by the Lincoln City Parks & Recreation Department. It’s a great race for all abilities and ages. Runners, walkers, joggers, babies in strollers, and even family pets are welcome! Costumes are not required but highly encouraged. You’ll be given bells so you can jingle all the way to the finish line.
There will be plenty of parking available to you at the Community Center. Check in and day of race registration will start at 8:30AM on race day and continue until the race begins at 9:30AM (SHARP!) The course is an out-and-back on the paved “Head to Bay” sideway/trail along NE 22nd and West Devils Lake Road.
This event will happen rain or shine, and though it will likely be a cold one, you’ll have hot chocolate and coffee to look forward to at the finish line.
This race is a very affordable way to get a run in before all the Christmas cookies or after the Thanksgiving stuffing at only $15 so come on out!
