Race Preview: 2018 Run Like Hell by Terrapin Events (Portland)
Zombies, costumes, and swag, oh my! Thousands of costumed runners will be hitting the streets of Portland on October 21st for Run Like Hell. As the name implies, this race is one of the spookiest in town. Once you finish your half marathon, 10k, or 5k, stick around and be ready to party! The after party hosts a costume contest, live music, amazing food, and of course beer and cider. Lets not forget all the swag, t-shirts, commemorative medals, beer/cider, amazing views, music, incredible race support (aids stations every 2miles!), race pacers, and so much more!
All distances begin on Portland’s Waterfront. After a 5 mile out and back, and heading through the “musical mile”, runners will head over the Steel Bridge for another out and back, finishing again at the Waterfront. The 10k, and 5k courses are the same, just without heading over the Steel Bridge. All distances host a little bit of a climb – the half marathon has a nice down hill mid section, with some rollers to take you to the finish, while the 10k and 5k both give you a climb, with some nice down hill fast finishes.
So grab your group of friends, plan some incredible costumes, and head down to PDX to get some miles in before the Halloween candy binge! Check out their Facebook page as well!
