Race Preview: 2018 Bigfoot 10k Run (Bend)

 

Ready to get your feet dirty while running to look for Bigfoot? Well here is your chance! Coming up next month is the Bigfoot 10k, a downhill point-to-point “PR Course” road race that starts at the Cascade Lakes Welcome Station and continues along the relatively new paved pathway that runs alongside Century Drive and finishes downtown at Riverbend Park.

The Deets:

Location: Cascade Lakes Welcome Station

Time: Bigfoot 10k – 9:00 A.M. Littlefoot 10:00 A.M.

Prices:

  • Bigfoot 10k – $30
  • Littlefoot – $5

Other important information:

  • Packet pick up:
    • Saturday 10/6 – Footzone (845 NW Wall St. in Downtown Bend) between 2 – 6pm
    • Sunday 10/7 – Starting line between 730a – 830a
  • There will be a shuttle bus running from the finish area at Riverbend Park to the race start. Shuttle will run from 7:45am – 8:30 am.
  • Proceeds go to the Bend/La Pine high school cross-country team.
