YES, MEN CAN PARTICIPATE, TOO!
The race leadership from Pink Buffalo Racing are skilled at putting on an event that is more than just a race, it is a weekend adventure. And the Oregon’s Women’s Half Marathon and 5K this October is continuing that positive reputation.
The event is designed around the female athlete, but guys are welcome to come along too. All finishers receive a medal. Long-sleeve women’s and men’s shirts are available for purchase. And everyone, 5K and half finisher, can take part in a fantastic sounding brunch with bagel bar, fresh fruit, and mimosas from Noble Estate Winery.
Maybe I should have just skipped those other details to focus on the winery part of this adventure. Just picture running or walking through the streets around the vineyards, with the tasting room as your finish line. You might PR just to get to the after-party.
