Race Preview: 2018 ORRC Greenway Trail Trial 10K (Beaverton)


The Oregon Road Runners Club is hosting their 2018 Greenway Trail Trial 10K run/walk on Labor Day – Monday, September 3rd – in Beaverton. So get in your chores / errands / relaxing in on Saturday and Sunday and celebrate Labor Day and start the week with a beautiful run on Monday!

This is a 10K out and back course on the Fanno Creek Regional [paved] Trail, which features scenic natural areas and wetlands.

There is no “official” start time; it’s whenever you want between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. The course and finish line will close at 10:30 am, so you just have to make sure you’ll be done by then!

The race will be chip timed by Huber Timing and there will be three water station stops along the course.

Early bib pickup and check-in will be held at the start line in Greenway Park on Saturday, September 1st from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm by the basketball courts – they’ll also be serving up ice cream and popsicles for you this day! You must register online before 6 pm on Friday, August 31 to be able to pick up your bib on Saturday. Race day packet pickup will begin at the starting line at 6:30 am.

She started casually running in 2012 and trained up for the "Run Like A Mother" 5k as her first proper event. She got a taste of the runner's high and is now a veteran ultrarunner.
