Race Preview: 2018 Devil’s Dam Dash 5K (Lowell)

If you are looking for some unique small town fun, head out to the Lowell Blackberry Jam Festival. This small town, just 20 miles outside of Eugene hosts this annual weekend event that includes the Devil’s Dam Dash 5K. This fun run goes through Lowell, Oregon and out to Lookout Dam. Devil’s Dash is sponsored by Rattlesnake BBQ and benefits Lowell Girls Varsity Basketball.

In addition to the 5K, there is also a Kids 1K for those 10 and under. There will be prizes for the first place male and female finishers and post race snacks available to all participants.

But, don’t just go for the race, enjoy the entire weekend festival (July 27-29) that includes things like a greased pole climb, a fishing derby, live bands, vendors, a quilt show, a parade, a car show, a horseshoe tournament, and more!
