WebWhy Racing Events will host the 34th Annual PDX TRI at beautiful Blue Lake in Fairview Washington on Sunday, July 29th, 2018. This fun, mid-summer event offers strong competition for all athletes. The beautiful course is flat, fast and scenic, with views of the Columbia River, Portland Airport, Mt. Hood & Blue Lake park.

The PDX Tri and Muti-Sport Festival offers 3 distances including the olympic, sprint and My First Tri for the triathlon, duathlon and aqua bike, also offered is a kids splash & dash.

Why Racing supports High School sports programs and other non-profit organizations through their events. Contributions over the years from NW races and fundraisers have exceeded $2 million dollars, and some of the High School sports programs rely solely on the donations made via these events. With such a beautiful venue and for a great cause, the PDX Tri and Multi-Sport Festival is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning.

Sprint Triathlon: ½ mile Swim, 12.5 mile Bike, 5K Run (Start Time – 8am in waves)
Sprint Duathlon: 5k Run, 12.5 mile Bike, 5k Run (Start Time – 8am mass start)
Sprint AquaBike: ½ mile Swim, 12.5 mile Bike (Start Time – 8am in waves)
My First Tri: 1/4 mile Swim, 12.5 mile Bike, 5k Run (Start Time – last Sprint wave)
Olympic Triathlon:1.5K Swim, 40K Bike, 10K Run (Start Time – 8:30am in waves)
Olympic Duathlon: 5k Run, 40K Bike, 10K Run (Start Time – 8:30am mass start)
Olympic AquaBike: 1.5K Swim, 40K bike (Start Time – 8:30am in waves)
Kids Splash & Dash – Approximately Noon Start
