The 4th annual Whine on the Vine put on by X-Dog Events, is a 5 mile adventure run through the J Ablin Vineyards in the scenic Hillsboro countryside. The race includes some great views, tough trails through grapes and vines and lots of obstacles. As X-Dog Events states, ” … some portions of the trail you can run, others you can’t, and band aids and blood might just happen.” Finish up the adventure with a giant hill that includes a GIANT slip ‘n’ slide. Woo hoo! The race benefits the Newberg HS Lacrosse Team.
Once you get to the finish line, have a mimosa or two! Stay for some good food and the post race entertainment. The Winery will be open for tasting (for a small tasting charge) and awards will go to top finishers as well as age-group winners.
