The last Portland Cider beverage that I reviewed was one that I absolutely crushed over the past few months – the Concord Grape. In fact, Untappd informs me that I drank it about 30 times since around the start of the year! It was disheartening that this style is coming to an end (though I hear rumors it may become full time…), but that means that the next seasonal is upon us – Pineapple!
Pineapple is a flavor that just screams warm weather and summer, so I guess I won’t be too sad. I recently sampled a bottle, and it pretty much hits the nail on the head. I have had a handful of pineapple ciders by different cideries and found this one to be less sweet than some alternatives (though it’s not dry by any means).
Definitely check out heading out to their Clackamas location for the Luau & Pineapple Release Party on June 2nd. Here is what to look forward to:
