Have you ever run with a dog? It can be crazy fun one moment and life threatening the next (as your best friend cuts left to chase a rabbit), but it’s always an adventure. Running a race specifically made for you and your furry companion? Yup, this is just what you need! The Dog Gone Run in Redmond is a 5K, 10K or 1 mile family walk that benefits Brightside Animal Shelter and aims to get you and your dog outside together, enjoying the sunny Central Oregon skies.
The race is reasonably priced ($35 before June 8th) and comes with a t-shirt for you and a bandana for your pup. There will be an assortment of post-run goodies as well as a raffle in Sam Johnson Park, where the race starts and ends.
When: Saturday, June 16th. Race starts at 9am at Sam Johnson Park.
