Race Preview: 2018 Sagebrush Cycles Time Trial Duathlon and 5K (Bend)

Calling all Duathlon athletes who are wanting a time trial, this is the event (s) for you! The Sagebrush Cycles Time Trial Duathlon and 5K is held Wednesday evenings May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and June 6th, in Bend OR. This year, they have also added a 5K run only option. Races start promptly at 5:30 pm, and no warm ups will be allowed after the timed trials begin.
The 2018 Sagebrush Cycles Time Trial Duathlon and 5K is title sponsored by Sagebrush Cycles. Course details can be found on the website. The time trial will be held on a 8.5 mile out and back course, which will be on Skyliner Dr. The course will have an elevation gain of 560 ft. Note to participants, please stay in the bike lane. The running course will feature a 3.1 mile loop, consisting of flat dirt roads. It will use the Cascade Highlands and the Marvin Gardens Trail.

All OBRA rules will apply because this is an OBRA event. All participants are required to have an OBRA license (5K and Duathlon), annual or single day will be accepted. This event will be using OBRA numbers, they will be provided if participant does not have one. All participants 18 and under race for free when pre registered.

Participants can register for the series or for an individual race. Dust off your bike, grab your running shoes, and get yourself ready for a fun event!
