Race Preview: 2018 HOTV Spring Six (Corvallis)

As I was checking out my small bag from this past weekend’s Corvallis Half, I noticed a sheet of paper promoting the upcoming HOTV Spring Six, a unique 6k event that runs through the OSU campus on April 28th. We weren’t aware of this event, so wanted to do a quick preview on what should be a cool event. And my guess is most of us don’t have 6k PR’s yet…!

Having just completed the Corvallis Half, which ran partially through campus, I can attest that it is indeed quite beautiful. The race will start and finish on the Oregon State University Whyte Track and run the entire distance within the university grounds. It looks truly awesome.

There will also be a 400m kids race for kids from 6-14 years old, and a 100m dash for 6 and under. Afterwards, hang out and watch some of the best collegiate athletes and Oregon State’s own compete in the Hi-Performance Track Meet.

This should be a cool family-friendly event, on a unique course, and followed up with a track meet afterwards. Sounds like a great time to me! Mark yourself interested or going on the Facebook event page!
