How tough are you? Put your trail skills to the test at the 2018 Tough As Nails Trail Race on Saturday May 12th, 2018 in Medford, OR. This year, the Southern Oregon Runners will be hosting a new 10 mile course as well as a 5k option.
The 10 mile course will take place on a crushed granite service road with some single track trails. There will be roughly 1700+ feet of elevation gain, so bring your best running game! The 5k course is family friendly loop on a service road that circumnavigates the mountain with a new out and back. There will be about 500+ feet of elevation gain for this one.
If you are a member of the Southern Oregon Runners, the cost for the 10k is only $25 and the 5k is $15. The price goes up $5 if you are not a member, and this is still a great deal for a scenic trail race.
After the race, stay for the party! There will be a DJ playing 80’s music and you’ll also get some free food and drink thanks to the Medford Food Co-op! There will be prizes to the top male/female finishers for each distance, ribbons for the top 3 age groups, and other prizes and giveaways.
