Race Preview: 2018 Stoller Community 5K Run/Walk and Jr. Jaguar Jog (Beaverton)

We all are aware of the importance of childhood physical activity, movement, and overall health. That is why the Stoller Community 5K Run/Walk is such an important race. The registrations from this race go to benefit the Stoller PE and Health teachers for them to enhance their programs. Teaching kids health and wellness is integral and a race that supports this is great to support.

The race itself is on Aprill 22nd, 2018 and is a great way for the Bethany and Cedar Mills area to build its community and impact it’s smallest community members. Race day offers the Jr. Jaguar Jog which is a free 1K for younger runners to feel like they are contributing and participating. The main event is the 5K run and walk which starts at Stoller Middle School and travels around the rolling neighborhoods. The course follows out past Bethany Village and through THRPD before returning to Stoller Middle School. Strollers are welcome and the race is capped at 800 participants.

Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers as well as the top 5 finishers both male and female under 15 years old and top 2 finishers in each age division both male and female over the age of 15.
