Race Preview: 2018 Heart of the Valley Triathlon and Duathlon (Corvallis)

The 2018 Heart of the Valley Triathlon and Duathlon is the 30th annual running of this long standing tradition. With a 750-meter swim in the Osborn Aquatic Center indoor pool, followed by a 10.5 mile bike ride and a fast, flat run course, Heart of the Valley is a great first triathlon. Some of the most amazing kids come out to participate in the youth race.

A long standing tradition nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, the Heart of the Valley Triathlon is a great way to spend your weekend. Keeping with the mission of Best in the West Events to include all ages and ability levels, this sprint triathlon, duathlon and kids triathlon welcomes all. Whether you are looking to do your first triathlon or racing for the win, this is a great early season race.

This year’s race will be on Sunday, April 29th at the Osbourne Aquatic Center in Corvallis. Come celebrate the 30th year of the Heart of the Valley. Registration is open and prices increase on March 23rd so register early to get the best price and guarantee your t-shirt.
