Race Preview: 2018 Goat Mountain Gallop Half Marathon (Molalla)

Are you looking for a historic half marathon to run that has been going on for 35 years? Well if you are, the Goat Mountain Gallop Half Marathon is just the race for you! 🙂 Organized, directed and all race proceeds going to the Molalla High School Track Team, the half marathon is one of the oldest in Oregon and is a point to point challenging and hilly half marathon course starting at Colton High School taking you past beautiful rural country fields, rolling hills and crossing the Molalla River. The race is chipped timed and also offers a walk option for the half as well. The finish line is at Molalla High School where you will be rewarded by a pancake breakfast. Mmmm!

Finisher awards will be given to the top 3 times for both men and women’s groups in both the walking or running categories.

Parking is free and available at the Molalla High School and there will be a shuttle  from there to the starting line. There is also a gear check available! And also a very rare commodity – there are  locker rooms with showers available if you wish to shower after the race. Make sure you bring your own towel and soap! No sweaty drive home, yeah!
