Race Preview: 2018 Lucky Clover 5k/10k Run/Walk (Springfield)

Looking for a race to do on St. Patrick’s Day? You have a few options if you decide to do the 2018 Lucky Clover 5k/10k in Springfield, OR on March 17th. Level 32 Racing has brought you this race with two 5k route options: one is on trails and the other is a road race. If you opt to do the 10k, you will run both of the 5k loops (road AND trail) and you will even have the choice of which loop you’d like to do first!

The 5k Trail course, all on dirt and bark chips will take you through Dorris Ranch Park through filbert orchards along the Willamette River. The course is entirely flat and you can take a peek at what it looks like here. The 5k road course is new this year. There are 2 hills in the first half of the race, and the second half is flat through residential neighborhoods along the river. You can view the course here. The 10k course, as previously mentioned, will combine the two courses mentioned above and you’ll get to decide which you’d like to tackle first. The transition area will be near the start/finish area.

There will be a post-race celebration at Claim 52 Brewing at The Abbey, which is a counterpart to the taproom located in nearby downtown Springfield at 418 St (4th & A.) They will be open from 3:00PM to 9:00PM.

The cost of this race is $20 for adults and $15 for those 17 & under and 60& over. There are also tech fabric shirts available for $14 but they will only be guaranteed if ordered by 3/7. Online registration will close at midnight on 3/16. You can also register in person at Eugene Running Company or at Run Hub NW before 7:00PM on 3/16.
