You know it’s the start of race season in Oregon when all the Shamrock runs start popping up to register for!! Have you been training?! Well even if you haven’t been yet, why not sign up for one that has been happening for 41 years now and is full of tradition? The Run For The Shamrock, presented by and supporting the Sheldon High School Track Program offers a 5K and 10K option at lovely Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Oregon.
The courses are flat, fast and scenic weaving through the bike paths with views of the Willamette River. The 5K course crosses the Autzen and DeFazio bridges, while the 10K course crosses the Autzen and Greenway bridges. The race is chip timed and awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finisher and the top three in each age group. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings. Don’t forget to dress up in your luckiest green outfit! 🙂

Cost: Adults – $20 without shirt, $30 with shirt – through March 9, 2018. Youth 17 & Under deduct $5. On race day, add $5.
