Free 5k run in Vancouver on New Year’s Eve

After a year of racing, sometimes it’s just nice to take it easy and culminate the 365th AND 1st day of the year with a casual event. The New Years Eve Fun 5k Walk/Run, starting at Ester Short Park in Vancouver at 1145pm, will be casual in nature and FREE for the wallet. Meet the crew at the Clock Tower to count down 2017 with a sparkling apple juice toast at the stroke of Midnight, followed by a out-and-back to the Beaches turnaround and back. All levels of walkers and runners welcome, this is purely for fun and a great way to start the year on the right foot.
