Race Preview: 2017 Annual Ugly Holiday Sweater Run 5k

If you are looking to get a run in before Christmas, you can do a free one on December 23rd  in Tualatin. The 6th Annual Holiday Sweater Run is an untimed 5k run/walk that benefits the Ladybug CDH Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that aids families affected by Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (a congenital malformation of the diaphragm.)

Though this event is free of charge, please plan on donating $10 to the cause and/or bringing some items that will help families out in the NICU (cotton receiving blankets, small stuffed animals, blank journals, etc.)

The well-marked course will take place on the paved trails and streets of Tualatin and will begin and end at Tualatin’s Road Runner Sports. After the race is over, there will be the Ugly Sweater awards which should be a good time for all.

So come on out and join in the fun for a great cause. Isn’t that what the holidays are all about?
