Kickstarter of the Week: World’s Best Running Shorts II by TrueRevo

When I run, I have a handheld water bottle that my phone attaches to. It’s become one of my favorite accessories over the summer. However, it’s true flaw is being exposed as my runs start getting wetter and wetter – keeping a phone exposed to the sky is not really the best idea. There is a new Kickstarter campaign that is aiming to assist with this – the World’s Best Running Shorts II by TrueRevo.

TrueRevo is in the process of producing shorts and pants that keep your phone safe, secure, and dry when you run, by adding a waterproof pocket on the undershorts. They have designed the “Smartphone Pocket System” (SPS), which “contains a strategically placed phone pocket on running tights & an outer opening such that the user can slide the phone from the outer to the inner just as if he is sliding it into a normal pocket.”

This is a pretty neat concept in an effort to allow your phone to remain dry, yet also not be tucked away too far. In addition, the shorts can also disconnect and be worn as compression only or combined with the outer shorts.

There are also a variety of standard shorts features, such as a back zipped pocket, reflective logo, anti-bacterial fabric, and a variety of different lengths (2″ – 7.5″ in mens).

This campaign has already reached its goal, so pledge now and receive a pair of cool and functional running shorts for a small price tag.
