Southern Oregon’s oldest road race, the Pioneer Road Run, will be held in Phoenix, Oregon on Saturday, November 11th, 2017. Originally just the 9 mile course, this event was founded in 1971 but have since added a 5k option as well. Both distances are out and back courses and start / finish at Phoenix High School.
The top 3 finishers in all age groups will receive ribbons and Lance Tooke Memorial trophies will be presented to the top male and female high school 5k winners.
Please note, no roller skates, bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, dogs, or unregistered runners are allowed.

Bobi Jo has lived all over the midwest but moved to Portland in 2007 and now calls it home. She started casually running in 2012 and trained up for the "Run Like A Mother" 5k as her first proper event. She got a taste of the runner's high and is now a veteran ultrarunner. While running is her favorite sport, she is a "Jill of all trades, master of none" - her other hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and traveling the world. On her elusive rest days, she is an avid bookworm and a Green Bay Packers fan.
