Race Preview: 2017 Stickmen Brewing 5k Fun Run (Tigard)

Here is a great race for beer lovers and those who also enjoy non-competitive races. Oregon Brewery Running Series has teamed up with Stickmen Brewing to offer a 5K fun run at their new beer hall in Tualatin. With the start line and finish line located at Stickmen Brewing, participants will walk/ run/ stroll their way towards a delicious recovery beverage.

This fun run is sure to please, without the fighting towards the finish line. Everyone is a winner in this run. Participants will receive a craft brew from Stickmen Brewing, collectors pint glass, or seasonal swag item, and other goodies from Oregon Brewery Running Series partners.

Part of the proceeds from this event will going to support The Portland Parks Foundation and Oregon Brewshed Alliance. The Portland Parks Foundation delivers leadership, partnership and funding to our Portland parks. The Oregon Brewshed Allliance works to educate the beer drinking community about protected watersheds and their role in the craft brewing industry of Oregon.

The course will be an OPEN course, which means that all the roads used will remain open during the race. The runners will be responsible for following all current traffic laws. That being said, organizers make sure the route is safe and fun for participants. Please remember to bring ID or drivers license to provide proof of age for the post race beer. Those who are under 21 will receive a non-alcoholic beverage for participating. There is no bag check at this event, be sure to plan accordingly.
