Oregon Brewery Running Series is at it again, teaming up this time with Baerlic Brewing Co. On Saturday October 21st, come run or walk a 5K course, before enjoying a nice cold beer. This is a “fun” run and is not timed, it’s a great way to get out and enjoy the fall weather with a laid back, uncompetitive run. Since the run will not be timed, walking, strolling, jogging, even skipping will be permitted.

The race starts promptly at 11:00 am on October 21st. The start and finish line will be at Baerlic Brewing Co. The course will run through the Hosford-Abernethy/Clinton neighborhood of SE Portland. No need to worry about getting lost during this race, as there are guides along the way. This race will feature an “open” course, which means that there are no road closures, that being said, they work extremely hard to keep the course safe and fun. Plan on arriving at least 30 minutes before the race begins. There is also no bag check, so plan accordingly. Dress for the weather, this is a rain or shine event. And be sure to remember your ID and some extra cash for after the race. Adding to the free beer and swag after the race will food, merchandise and more beer for sale.

A portion of the race fee will benefit The Portland Parks Foundation and the Oregon Brewshed Alliance. Registration is limited to 200 people, sign up here.
